From 28 September to 1 October, The Arsenale of Venice hosts the first edition of the Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano, a unique event that celebrates art and the excellence of the Italian craftsmanship in a prestigious and evocative location.
The artisans will be welcomed by the Tese delle Nappe and the Tese di San Cristoforo, the ancient pavilions, now restored, which were once part of the Arzanà, a place where Venetian shipbuilding developed so much to transform the Serenissima into a Maritime Republic capable of controlling a large part of the eastern Mediterranean for centuries.
The Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano is a context where it is possible to discover the best of the Italian expertise in the various sectors ranging from ceramics to fine fabrics, from blown glass works to precious stones, from jewelry. MARIONI with its fifty years of experience in high quality craftsmanship and original design, strongly wanted to be among the protagonists of this first fair edition.
An event that will allow MARIONI to present the uniqueness of its production and the creative process behind the creation of each individual object.

An occasion in which it is possible to discover how certain artistic traditions have remained intact while others have changed to respond to different market needs.

Marioni – Pav. Tese delle Nappe – Booth 91
The exclusive and refined NOTORIOUS collection by MARIONI will be the protagonist of this first fair edition. A series of furnishing accessories, inspired by the style of the 40s, project us into a Hollywood atmosphere where charm and elegance intertwine with beauty.
A complete line that includes furniture, upholstered furniture, seats, lighting fixtures and home accessories where the use of unusual and sophisticated materials is synonymous with refinement and strong personality. Exotic essences such as Ebony and Rosewood, warm materials such as parchment and leather, refined fabrics and precious marbles such as Calacatta oro and Almond Onyx, glazes and crystalline with metallic reflections, are skillfully combined to convey a calming sense of elegance.
Every single object in the NOTORIOUS collection reveals the high professional skill of the craftsmen at the service of MARIONI. Modelers, decorators and artists work with great skill in the Calenzano headquarters, at a short distance from Florence. Between modernity and tradition, the collections are designed to maintain an innate functional and aesthetic value unchanged over time.

INGRID – Swivel armchair
Swivel armchair covered in double-colored mohair velvet and featuring a metallic lower band in brushed brass effect. It owes its name to Ingrid Bergman, the unforgettable protagonist of Notorious movie.

SUNSET – Console table
Console table characterized by a structure in brushed brass and geometric elements in glazed ceramic available in different colors. The shelves are in extra clear glass, while the bottom shelf is a bronzed mirror for an elegant play of light and depth.

PINS – Side table and Table lamp
Brass side table characterized by a colored glass top and base in glazed ceramic with a contrasting color. Table lamp with adjustable inclined arm. The base is in ceramic, of an intense red color glazed in tone with the small element on the arm. A spherical satin glass diffuses a soft light. Both available in different combinations of colors and finishes.

PALM – Lighting collection
Lamps characterized by an elegant geometric balance of the ceramic truncated conical elements, whose contrasting colors define a strong personality. Each lamp has a brushed brass base and a spherical satin glass that diffuses a pleasant warm light
