PEDONE: the ceramic sculpture inspired by the exciting game of chess

Pedone’s concept is inspired by the fascinating world of chess: one of the oldest planning and strategy games known that, through the use of the various pieces, incorporates a very important aesthetic and creative aspect.
What could be more creative than being inspired by the shape of the pedestrian and turning it into a highly evocative ceramic sculpture characterized by a clean and elegant design? This is what Artwork Italian Heritage by Kerasan did with the designer Adriana Lohmann, defining the unique identity of Pedone, a sculptural object that interprets ceramics in a completely original and multifunctional way. Pedone can be a decorative object but also a light source that, thanks to its strong personality, attracts attention and generates beauty in any type of space, from private to urban or commercial.
Pedone is proposed by Artwork Italian Heritage by Kerasan in a very high-quality ceramic with 6 different and precious finishes such as black and white declined in glossy and matt versions, platinum and gold. It is 1 meter high and weighs 23 kg.
In the light source version, the switching on and off of Pedone is managed via a power cable and foot switch rather than with a rechargeable battery and remote control, through which it is also possible to vary the intensity of the light emitted.
