Bronzetto presents EDEN TRAFORO, the new collection of outdoor lamps inspired by the aristocratic and harmonious beauty of the Italian garden

A tradition, the Italian Garden ones, that dates back to Roman times and in particular the Renaissance, when the garden was conceived as a place of pleasure and regeneration inspired by the classic ideals of order and beauty. Then we move on a company, Bronzetto, that has always cultivated a particular inclination to generate beauty through customized projects and unique creations.
Finally, we arrive to an enchanted and exclusive location, which in 2023 earned the first place in the list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels: we talk about the Hotel Passalaqua on Lake Como, owned by the De Santis family.

An undoubtedly happy conjuncture that led to the creation of the new Traforo line, which is part of the EDEN collection of lamps and outdoor furniture that Bronzetto is presenting today to the Italian and international market.

And as often happens to this beautiful Florentine manufacturing company, the new line was born as a tailor-made project developed ad hoc to enrich the Italian garden that surrounds the well-kept boutique hotel and overlooks the suggestive water of the Lario. From here to rightfully enter the EDEN catalogue of the Company’s outdoor products, in all its articulation and variations, the step was short.

From design comes beauty

To realize the absolute beauty of Hotel Passalaqua, the property relied on the advice and work of the most exclusive brands and expert artisans: among them was no shortage of Bronzetto, which, happily enlisted in the project brigade, was tasked with creating several brass products of the finest quality and original design, which were placed in many of the hotel’s interior and exterior spaces.
Working alongside architects and designers, Bronzetto has been able to express the skills and manufacturing abilities gained in more than 60 years of history, designing and creating a line conceived for the total enhancement of the green spaces of the hotel, the winter garden lounge and the path that, through some tunnels, leads to the spa.

The Traforo line, from the EDEN collection

All the lamps that are part of the Traforo line feature a very textural and unique finish, which is that of burnished brass. Eden is divided into a series of special products such as floor and wall lanterns, suspensions, streetlamps and step markers. Many models are enriched with a perforated design that contributes to the diffusion of a very soft and welcoming light, ideal for creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Their aesthetics discreetly but clearly evoke distant Arabian and Moroccan atmospheres.

Each declination of the EDEN Traforo outdoor lamps has been made using the very complex technique of laser cutting on a sphere or cylinder, depending on whether it was the pendant chandelier or the wall or floor lamps. The laser cutting of brass performed by Bronzetto craftsmen ensured optimal results, following the design specifications with the utmost precision. Brass in fact, compared to other materials, has higher values of hardness, fusibility and resilience and is therefore particularly suitable for the most daring applications in design. Thanks to this precision technique, in fact, the openwork pattern chosen by the customer was reproduced in a punctual manner.
