JACARANDA the new lamp by Bronzetto
Presented for the first time at the Salone del Mobile 2022, JACARANDA is the new capsule collection by Bronzetto, which includes coordinated furnishings and lighting objects, developed from the meeting with Jacaranda Caracciolo Falk.
It all started with the request for tailor-made furniture objects for a property in Capalbio, in Tuscany, characterized by a careful search for artisan producers and excellent raw materials. The first encounter with Bronzetto took place in the company’s evocative atelier and workshop (which can be visited by appointment). A unique inspirational world, where the gleam of brass and the warmth of bronze blend with original models or collectibles. Working metals such as bronze requires particular mastery, a skill that goes beyond the creation of the product itself. Indeed thanks to its skills and experience, Bronzetto offers to customize all the catalogue products, with the ultimate goal of recovering and keeping alive the great Italian tradition of quality craftsmanship. And that’s what intrigues Jacaranda, who begins to commission personalized and reworked furnishing objects among the many noticed in the atelier.
Protagonist of the line: the JACARADA lamp
Among these a particular lamp, re-edited in design after a long and careful feasibility study on color and material. And with the name of an exceptional godmother: Jacaranda. The result is incredible. Thus, simplified compared to the initial project, the JACARANDA table lamp presents brass details and base, a fabric lampshade and blown glass structure. The artisan technique used is the Florentine one of glass blowing inside a mold, usually made of wood or carved metal. So this way, the shape and texture of the glass bubble are determined by the design within it.
In addition to the basic black and white finishes, which are mixed directly into the glass paste before being blown into the mold, the lamp structure can also be customized in other finieshes. Bronzetto offers a wide range of RAL colours to choose from, obtained by colouring the shape in transparent glass at a later time, through a cooking process at 200°.
The tones chosen by Jacaranda, such as orange for example, are very warm and full, in perfect combination with the brass inserts in the natural finish, which are added later as well as the base with the spherical feet.
A wide and coordinated line for lighting and furnishings
Furthermore, from this interesting and stimulating collaboration, a real capsule collection was born. In addition to the lamps (available to order), it includes coffee tables and coordinated wall lights. All characterized by the same coloured glass and brass structure that transforms into a nice and elegant tray-table that can be transported through a brass ring.
Bronzetto is an eclectic brand, which collects different suggestions, visions and approaches to the theme of contemporary living, drawing inspiration for its lines from the different internal and external stimuli that arise in Bottega every day. First requests for the recovery of privates, with a view to ethical and conscious entrepreneurship in which recycling and reuse are the bases. Or bespoke furniture projects, which naturally represent the deeper identity of the company, where past and present, experience and innovation meet. A young company, well adherent to the market, which today has gone beyond the limits of artistic craftsmanship, to act as a dynamic and capable interlocutor in assisting interior designers and designers in the realization of their projects.
